The illuminations are underway from 31st August and will shine till - 4th November 2012, often called the greatest free show on earth.

The 2012 Switch On show will be on the promenade on the newly completed Tower Headland. It will be the first time since the early Illumination days that the crowd will be able to watch the Switch On Concert and see the promenade Illuminate when the lucky celebrity flicks the switch.
